Salmon Dry Cat Food

Yes, cats can eat small amounts of rice. We include a little white rice in this recipe because it's easy to digest and gentle on sensitive tummies. It also helps bind the ingredients to form our crunchy cat biscuits. While cats are obligate carnivores, a small amount of rice can support digestion without compromising their nutritional needs, and serves as a helpful source of natural fibre and energy.

Our dry food bags are made from fully recyclable materials. Recycle them at your local supermarket with carrier bags and other flexible plastics or check your local kerbside recycling guidelines to help reduce environmental impact. Get ready from 2027 where the recycling rules are being updated and aligned for the whole country.

Great question! Prebiotics and probiotics are ingredients we add to our Scrumbles recipes. Prebiotics are types of fibre that can be used by bacteria naturally found in your pet's gut, including ingredients like inulin. Probiotics are live microorganisms, and we use a strain of Enterococcus faecium in selected recipes. You can find the full ingredient list for each recipe on our website!

Absolutely! Salmon provides omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids to help maintain healthy skin and a glossy coat. Our fish cat food is made with tasty salmon and added salmon oil, creating a protein-rich recipe packed with flavour. Perfect for keeping your kitty's taste buds happy!

Our adult salmon dry cat food kibble measures approximately 8mm in diameter and 5mm deep. If you're looking for a smaller kibble, check out our Kitten and Queens cat food which measures approximately 6mm in diameter and 4mm deep. You can also mix it up by sprinkling some of our dental Krunchies to their meals which offers different textures and a larger size of roughly 15mm by 9.5mm

Our recipes are made with minimally processed, natural ingredients. Because we use natural ingredients and avoid over-processing, you might notice slight variations in size, texture, and smell from batch to batch - this is totally normal! Occasionally, you may also come across small oat fibres, small bone fragments, or visible pieces of carrots and other ingredients. Rest assured, these are perfectly safe for your furry friends and are part of what makes Scrumbles both tasty and wholesome for them. If you have any queries, don’t hesitate to drop us a message.

Once you have opened a bag of our dry cat or dog food, we advise that you use it within 3 months. Make sure to reseal the bag to maintain freshness and nutritional quality. Store in a cool, dry place and always check the best-before date on the bag. Even better, decant it into an airtight container for peak crunch-preserving power.

Our salmon dry cat food isn't suitable for cats with poultry allergies, as it contains both chicken and chicken fat alongside salmon. While salmon is a great alternative protein for some cats, this recipe is designed to combine both poultry and fish for a balanced, high-protein and extra tasty meal - rather than for exclusion diets. We don't currently offer a chicken-free cat food, but if you’re on the hunt for one, do get in touch! We’re always working on new recipes and love hearing what your cats need next.

When it’s part of a complete and balanced recipe, like our Chicken & Salmon Dry Cat Food, feeding salmon daily is absolutely safe and beneficial. Salmon is a great source of high-quality protein and omega-3 fatty acids, which support healthy skin, a shiny coat, and brain function. While feeding plain salmon alone every day wouldn’t provide all the nutrients your cat needs, our recipe combines salmon with chicken, added vitamins, minerals, and gut-friendly prebiotics and probiotics, giving your cat everything they need to thrive, day in and day out.

Every pet is different, so we offer both grain-free and gluten-free recipes to suit different dietary needs. Grain-free options avoid all grains completely, making them ideal for pets with grain sensitivities. Our gluten-free recipes include gentle, non-wheat grains like rice, which can provide slow-release energy for other floofs.

Good health starts inside, for us and our cats! That's why we make gut-friendly cat biscuits with carefully selected ingredients and added prebiotics and probiotics. Our dry food recipes have no added sugar or salt, and are made without common allergens like dairy, soy and wheat. Our recipes are made for healthy cats, so if your kitty has a sensitive tummy or a medical condition, we'd recommend checking with your vet before introducing new treats.

Transition gradually over 7-10 days by mixing increasing amounts of Scrumbles with your old food. This helps avoid tummy upsets and supports a smooth switch. Some toots, and stool variation is to be expected as your cat gets used to their Scrumbles.
