Thank you for visiting scrumbles.co.uk (“the Site”). This Site is operated by Smudge and Friends Petcare Ltd (“Scrumbles”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or purchasing products, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which form a legally binding agreement between you and Scrumbles.

If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase products.

26% off first one-time order or 33% off first subscription order when you spend over £10 via trial of Scrumbles Dry Cat Food 750g.  This offer is valid until June 30th 2026 and we reserve the right to cancel it at any time. This offer can’t be used with any other offer, including subscription purchases. Promo code must be used at checkout. All products are subject to availability.

750g Dry Cat Food Samples. Applying for a sample does not guarantee you will receive a sample, you will receive an email confirming if you are successful after application. Samples cannot be swapped or exchanged for other flavours. Only available to UK mainland addresses. Scrumbles reserves the rights to cancel samples at anytime.

2. Who We Are & How the Contract Works

2.1 These Terms apply to purchases for personal use only. Commercial purchases (resale, wholesale, dropshipping) require written agreement.

2.2 By placing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and any referenced policies (Privacy Policy, Returns Policy, Subscription Terms, etc.).

2.3 This contract is governed by English law and available in English only.

3. Use of the Site

3.1 The Site allows you to:

• Purchase products;
• Register as a user;
• Browse content and interact with features we make available.

3.2 By using the Site, you confirm you are at least 13 years old. Children under 13 must not use the Site; we will delete information if we suspect a user is under 13. By placing an order, you confirm you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3.3 You are responsible for account security and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3.4 We may update, suspend, or withdraw the Site (or parts of it) at any time, using reasonable efforts to ensure confirmed orders are unaffected.

3.5 We aim to make our Site accessible. If you experience difficulty using it, please contact us.

4. Intellectual Property & User Content

4.1 All Site content (text, images, graphics, video, music, software, and code) is protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws.

4.2 You may print or download material for personal, non-commercial use only, without altering proprietary notices.

4.3 By submitting content (reviews, ideas, images) to the Site, you grant Scrumbles a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display your content in any media.

4.4 You warrant that you have rights to any content submitted or are authorized to grant this license.

5. Ordering and Contract Formation

5.1 Orders are placed via the checkout process.

5.2 You will receive an order acknowledgement email, but a binding contract forms only when we dispatch your order.

5.3 We may decline or cancel orders for:

• Out-of-stock products;
• Pricing or description errors;
• Payment authorization failure;
• Customer ineligibility.

5.4 If we cancel, we will refund any payments made.

6. Prices and Payment

6.1 Prices are in £GBP and include VAT, excluding delivery, unless stated.

6.2 Payment methods are displayed at checkout, and may include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Shop Pay, Maestro, Union Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. No cash or cheques.

6.3 Payment will be taken upon order acceptance. Subscription payments are taken automatically per your selected frequency and renewal date.

6.4 All transactions are processed securely with encryption. We do not store full card details.

6.5 Payment authorizations may include additional security checks

6.6 If payment fails and you received products, you must pay within 14 days or return the products within 14 days, keeping them unused and in good condition.

6.7 If you fail to pay or return products, we may collect them at your expense, after attempting to contact you.

6.8 Prices may change, but changes do not affect confirmed orders. Subscription price changes apply from the next renewal.

6.9 Payment disputes: If you believe a transaction is incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate and resolve the issue quickly.

7. Delivery

7.1 We deliver via DPD to UK addresses unless stated otherwise.

7.2 Delivery times, charges, and options are shown at checkout. For UK mainland orders, standard delivery is free on orders over £40, and £4.99 for orders below this. For non UK mainland or further afield addresses (such as Highlands), shipping is free over £80, or £10 below this.

7.3 If you instruct the carrier to leave goods in a safe place or with a neighbour, delivery will be treated as completed once delivered there. We may not be able to replace or refund parcels reported missing after safe place delivery unless the carrier confirms non-delivery.

7.4 If we cannot deliver within 30 days, you may cancel for a full refund.

7.5 We may change or introduce delivery partners or change delivery cost at any time. Changes to delivery costs won’t affect orders that have already been placed.

7.6 We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control including transport disruption, strikes, natural disasters, or supplier failures.

8. Right to Cancel & Returns

8.1 You may cancel within 14 days of receiving unused and unopened products.

8.2 Exceptions:

• Pet food or treats once opened;
• Goods liable to deteriorate rapidly.

8.3 To cancel, notify us within 14 days of delivery and return products within 14 daysContact hello@scrumbles.com for the correct returns address before sending goods back.

8.4 Refunds are issued using the original payment method, adjusted if goods are handled beyond what is necessary.

8.5 Orders refused and returned may have a shipping deduction of £6.32.

9. Faulty or Incorrect Products

9.1 Your statutory rights are not affected.

9.2 Contact us at hello@scrumbles.com if goods are defective, incorrect, or damaged.

10. Products

10.1 We may modify or stop supplying products. Reasonable notice will be given where possible.

10.2 If a product is unavailable, we will refund any advance payments and may cancel subscriptions.

10.3 Pet food suitability varies by animal. You are responsible for ensuring products are appropriate for your pet’s age, health, and dietary needs. Where in doubt, consult your vet.

11. Subscriptions

11.1 Subscriptions renew automatically at your chosen frequency.

11.2 You may manage, skip, or cancel subscriptions at least 24 hours before renewal.dp

11.3 Price changes apply from the next renewal; you may cancel beforehand if you do not wish to continue.

11.4 Credits from the Loyalty Scheme must be applied manually by redeeming credits in your subscription portal. Cannot transfer, and expire if no order is placed within 3 months. Credits cannot be combined with discounts, and can only be used on subscription orders over £10. A maximum of £20 in credits can be used on any one order (equivalent to 2000 credits).

11.5 Referral scheme is only available to subscription customers. Providing 33% off your friends first order, with a minimum order spend of £10. If successful, referrer will receive £15 in credits - which can only be used on orders over £30. Referral discounts cannot be combined with other discounts.

12. Promotions and Loyalty

12.1 Promotions are subject to availability and may change or be withdrawn.

12.2 Loyalty Scheme is exclusive to active subscribers.

12.3 Only one promotion or discount code may be used per order unless stated otherwise.

13. Third-Party Sites

13.1 We are not responsible for third-party sites linked from ours.

13.2 Each third-party site has its own terms and privacy policies. Review them carefully.

13.3 We are not liable for content, products, or services on third-party sites.

14. Mobile / SMS Terms

14.1 By subscribing, you consent to receive recurring SMS messages related to orders, alerts, and promotions.

14.2 Participation is voluntary and not a condition of purchase.

14.3 Message and data rates may apply; you are responsible for charges from your carrier.

14.4 Opt-out anytime by texting STOP or using the provided link; HELP for assistance.

14.5 You confirm you are the account holder or have permission from the account holder to receive SMS messages.

15. User Conduct

15.1 You must not:

• Upload harmful, offensive, or unlawful content;
• Infringe third-party IP or privacy rights;
• Interfere with the Site’s operation.

15.2 We may monitor, remove, or refuse content at our discretion and cooperate with law enforcement.

16. Liability and Indemnification

16.1 We do not exclude liability where unlawful.

16.2 We are not liable for unforeseeable or business losses.

16.3 You are responsible for losses we suffer as a direct result of your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.

16.4 Some jurisdictions may limit liability exclusions; all other provisions remain in force.

16.5 Mandatory Liability

·      Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;

·      Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

17. Governing Law and Disputes

17.1 These Terms are governed by English law.

17.2 Disputes may be brought in:

• English courts;
• Scottish courts if you reside in Scotland;
• Northern Irish courts if you reside in Northern Ireland.
