Give your pup the best start in life. Our natural dry and wet puppy food is made for sensitive tummies, with prebiotics or probiotics to support healthy digestion, firm poops & all-round puppy wellbeing. Ideal for even the fussiest little tums.
To help avoid upset tummies, especially for sensitive puppies, it's best to transition gradually over 7–14 days. To do this, start by mixing a small amount of the adult food with their puppy food, and slowly increase the ratio until the switch is complete. During the transition it is quite normal to see some changes in stools or flatulence, but these should subside.
What makes Scrumbles puppy food good for sensitive tummies?
We add gut-friendly prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics to support digestion, immune function, and gut health. We also avoid common allergens like gluten, soy, dairy, and red meat, and stay well away from added sugar and salt. That helps make our puppy food gentle on even the most sensitive stomachs.
Which Scrumbles recipes are suitable for puppies?
All of them! Our full range is suitable for puppies from 8 weeks onwards. We also offer a specific Puppy Dry Food, tailored with extra nutrients, like DHA in salmon oil, for growing pups.
How should I store puppy food?
If you're serving our dry puppy food, simply keep it sealed in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture. For our wet food, store the unopened trays in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate, cover, and use within 2–3 days.
Do you cater for toy breeds and puppies?
Yes! Our Puppy & Toy Breed Chicken Dry Food is designed with small mouths in mind, with a mini kibble size and higher protein and calorie content to fuel their adventures.
Do you cater for large breed puppies?
We do! Larger breeds develop more slowly, so we’ve got options to support them, including our Salmon Dry Food with a bigger kibble size and added joint care to support growing bones and joints. Our wet food range is also pawfect for large breed pups, and can be mixed in with the dry food for extra variety.
Is Scrumbles puppy food grain-free?
Our Puppy Dry Food is gluten-free, rather than grain-free. If you're looking for grain-free puppy food options, you can check out our entire range of wet food. For larger breed puppies, you can also check out our Salmon Dry Dog Food or Turkey Dry Dog Food, which are both grain-free and suitable for larger breed puppies.
Is this the best puppy food for sensitive stomachs?
We’ve designed our puppy food specifically with sensitive stomachs in mind: natural ingredients, pre- and probiotics, gluten-free, and no added sugar, salt, or artificial nasties. The best way to know if it’s right for your pup? Give it a try and see the difference.
Can I mix dry and wet puppy food?
Yes! Many puppies enjoy a mix. Be sure to adjust feeding guidelines and monitor their weight gain to avoid overfeeding.
